a good weekend.

This weekend involved some wigs, masks and hula skirts, pictures to follow... Sunday was spent running some errands and processing the start of some much needed home improvements as well as making a few walls a little prettier....

a sick day

Today I spent pretty much all day in bed feeling sorry for myself after contracting the lurgy.

I used my time to my advantage and took a few photos of my little house. We moved in last June and are still making changes to it. The next major facelift would be for us to change the carpets and then I think the character will really burst out. Until then...

So, Sunday was a slight hangover day. We spent a few hours just chilling with my cousin, her husband their 2 year old girl Ava. Look how gorgeous she is wearing my glasses and hat! Oso and Woofington had to get in on the action too. Fun Sunday!

crazy, beautiful morocco

We went to Morocco for 5 days at the end of January. 3 days on the coast in a small town called Essaouira and then 3 days in Marrakech. It a beautiful, crazy country and I absolutely relished being immersed in the culture with my camera to capture the mental-ness....

cornish glamping

Mark and I spent a weekend back in September in a gorgeous traditional Gypsy caravan in the middle of the rolling hills of the Cornish countryside cooking campfires, playing cards and wrapping up warm under a blanket of stars. I'm only getting around to blogging about it now, but it was a great couple of days  getting back to nature and exploring...
