a yurt.

A couple of weeks ago I treated Mark to a weekend away for his 30th birthday. Ever since we spent a few nights in a gypsy caravan in Cornwall last year we always said we'd want to go glamping again but go for maybe something a little bigger next time. Forest Yurts was the first thing that popped up on the search and the first time I looked at the website I knew that was the place to go for.

Located by Sopley Lake, only 3 miles away from the edge of the New Forest National Park this was the perfect place to spend a couple of days with my boy.We explored, hit the beach, watched the stars, ate A LOT, relaxed and just generally had a great weekend. Surrounded by 'pick-your-own' fields of strawberries and asparagus, The Moroccon 'Love Yurt' we stayed in took our breath away as we stepped inside and saw the opulent furnishings and the amazing attention to detail, we wanted for nothing.

I recommend anyone to go and stay here, it's just an incredible romantic get away, and a fantastic experience.

leith hill.

A trip up to Leith Hill on Sunday was welcomed by the sunshine.
Laying on the grass with my boy, the sun on my face whilst making out shapes in the clouds. Absolute bliss.
